A shower remodel with Fort Collins Bathroom and Home Remodeling replaces the whole shower. We take it back to the studs, re-plumb the valve, build a waterproof base and walls, then fit the glass, niche and fixtures. You choose grout-free solid-surface panels or tile, and one local crew does every step, in Fort Collins and across Northern Colorado.
If you want a step-free entry, grab bars or a fold-down seat, see our walk-in showers. If the tub is sound and you want a shower in its place quickly, a one-day shower conversion may be all you need.
These are our published ranges for the shower jobs we do most. Replacing an existing shower with a new one is priced at the free in-home visit, because its size, the glass and what we find behind the wall set the number. For whole-bathroom numbers, see the Fort Collins bathroom remodel cost guide.
| Project | Typical range |
|---|---|
| One-day tub-to-shower conversion (composite system) | $4,000 to $10,000 |
| Custom tub-to-shower conversion (solid surface or tile) | $12,000 to $16,000 |
| Mid-range full bathroom remodel, shower included | $25,000 to $30,000 |
Typical ranges, not a quote. Your number depends on size, layout and finishes. Ranges as published on this site, October 2026.
Solid-surface panels go up as large seamless sheets, so there are no grout lines to scrub or re-seal. They come in looks from white sparkle and gray linen to marble and wood grain, including the Onyx, Tahiti Sands and Legacy Ash lines. Tile suits you if you want a particular large-format porcelain look. Both go on the same waterproof base, and we bring samples of each to the in-home visit.

A one-day shower conversion is finished in a single day. A custom shower in solid surface or tile takes longer, and you get a clear schedule with your quote before any work starts.
For cleaning, yes: solid-surface panels have no grout lines to scrub or re-seal. Tile is the better choice if you want a particular large-format porcelain look. Both go on the same waterproof base.
Yes, it is one of the most common jobs we do in Fort Collins. A one-day conversion uses a composite shower system. A custom conversion builds the shower from the studs out in solid surface or tile.
Yes. We build curbless and low-threshold showers with grab bars, a fold-down teak seat and a handheld shower on a slide bar.
